The Problem
Spirulina is one of the most nutrient-dense organisms on Earth — packed with proteins, phycocyanin, chlorophyll, fatty acids, and a full spectrum of vitamins. Scientists have known this for decades. What they've been slower to acknowledge is the barrier standing between all that potential and your cells.
The spirulina cell wall — a rigid, fibrous structure called sporopollenin — is essentially indigestible by the human gut. It passes through largely intact, taking the very compounds it contains along with it. Standard processing methods — drying, pressing, tableting — do nothing to solve this fundamental problem.
The result: most spirulina products deliver a fraction of their labeled bioavailability. Consumers are buying potential, not performance.

Liquid concentrate
Standard spirulina is mechanically ground into powder after drying. While this reduces particle size, the cyanobacterial cell membrane — a robust, multi-layered structure — remains largely intact. The bioactive compounds inside: phycocyanin, chlorophyll, carotenoids, amino acids, vitamins — are locked behind a wall the human digestive system cannot break down. Only nutrients exposed at fractured cell ends are accessible. The vast majority of spirulina's value stays sealed inside.
